Dr. Mark Matossian has a unique background in aerospace and IT/Cloud startups. He has worked on 10+ satellite constellation ventures in telecom, optical imaging and synthetic aperture radar (SAR). He is also a Silicon Valley veteran of 20+ years with leadership roles in terrestrial telecom and IT startups, in addition to Google, developing advanced products and creating what is known today as the Cloud. Post-Google, Mark opened the DOD/IC market for ICEYE, the leader in New Space synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, where he served as the CEO and President of ICEYE US.

Mark earned several degrees from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado. In addition, he completed studies and research at Saint Petersburg State University in Russia, the International Space University at MIT, and the Japanese Space Agency.
