February 7, 2025

Lonestar

This year, Starfield and Lonestar are partnering to invite one lucky fan to witness the launch of Lonestar’s Freedom mission, the first off-planetary data center on the Moon. Learn more about the historic launch and how to enter to win this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Lonestar—a pioneer in the data storage industry, researching ways to keep the Earth’s quintillions of bytes of data safe—is launching a historic lunar space mission to put the first off-planetary data center on the Moon.

Lonestar’s upcoming Mission, the Freedom Mission, launches from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida this February.

In the spirit of humanity’s continued exploration of space, Starfield has partnered with Lonestar to celebrate this momentous occasion by flying one Starfield fan, and their plus one, to Florida for the launch!
That fan could be you. Spend the day at the Kennedy Space Center, mingle with astronauts and witness this once-in-a-lifetime event in person.

In line with our commitment to inspiring the next generation of explorers, we are also extending an invitation to SEDS USA 2025 chapter presidents, who will have the opportunity to attend this historic launch.
